Great Advice Bears Repeating
October 28th, 2008 by Tina | Filed under Business.I’m a little behind in checking out other blogs as I typically do and today I looked in on Kelly McCausey’s blog at Sparkplugging and I was immediately drawn to her post on why you should avoid all the freebie junk with you start up your business online.
Kelly is spot-on with her advice. Free is typically not the way to go. And as she states in her post, if you don’t have the money for even the most basic of costs, then you need to hold a garage sale. Amen to that, Kelly!
Hold a garage sale. Wash some cars. Offer to pull some weeds in your neighborhood. Get off your rear end and do SOMETHING to scrape together some cash so you can at least get some basics…because there are some great deals to be found out there, but they’re typically not free!
You can still find ways to save money. Like bartering. Want some graphic design work? Or some internet marketing tutoring? Look around for some professionals who will barter with you in order to keep your initial costs down.
In the end, though, you really do need to have some “seed money” if you want your business to flourish!
